Sometimes we prepare for an event; other times we prepare for people. Advent is a time where we prepare for both. More specifically, we prepare to receive God’s gift: his only Son, Jesus.

Because God is for others, we are called to be for others too by helping them to find forgiveness and healing in God’s love and tender mercy.
