Children’s Mission Outreach

United Methodist Women
United Methodist Women’s primary purpose is to support groups that assist women and children. The primary fundraiser is Rummage Sales held twice a year.
Costa Rica Mission Trip

FISH Network of Food Pantries
FISH Ministry is part of a Knoxville wide church network of food pantries. On the first Sunday of each month workers prepare groceries and on the first Wednesday bags of food are delivered. Contact Nancy Mitchell for more info.
Local Missions
Appalachian Outreach is a poverty relief ministry serving people in Christ’s name. Join us in the fall as we repair a home and also provide a meal to the residents of the homeless shelter called Samaritan House. Contact Terri McCracken for more info.
Hope for the Children of Sudan

Volunteer Ministry Center (VMC)
VMC is a non-profit interfaith agency serving the poor and homeless of Knoxville. Be a part of a team that prepares and serves a meal the fourth Saturday of each month. The menu is simple: spaghetti and meat balls, green beans, fruit cocktail, bread, ice tea, bread. It only takes about 1 ½ hours, 10:30 to 12:00. Currently there are six teams.
